#4 Seoul vegan cafe and bakery
As you walk through the streets of Seoul, you'll likely notice several cafes on each block. Among them, the vegan cafes offer some interesting options. The ones mentioned here incorporate unique Korean ingredients such as black sesame, sweet pumpkin, and mugwort, providing a different take on traditional flavours. Hippie's Bagel (히피스베이글)
This place got viral as a healthy bagel so it's mostly sold out online. They are famous for vegan bagel that use no butter, no eggs, no milk, instead, made of minimal amount of baked salt and rice power. From classic bagels with vegan spreads to more unique combinations, it’s the perfect spot for anyone eager to savor a delicious and satisfying breakfast or lunch.
Cafe Turtle (카페 거북이)
Cafe Turtle is a serene, vegan-friendly cafe known for its peaceful ambiance and wholesome offerings. Situated in the vibrant Yeonnam-dong area, this spot is perfect for a quiet retreat. It serves a variety of vegan cakes, pastries, and drinks, all made with natural, plant-based ingredients. Their cakes are THE BEST cakes, so far, this is the top spot for vegan cakes in Seoul! (personal opinion)
