I bet this is the only place you can try fried chicken with stir-fried anchovies in Korean style. It used to be Korean's old banchan(Small dishes) but who knew that it would taste great with chicken! It's tiny anchovy so you wouldn't feel fishy taste rather crunchy salty flavours. Many korean wants to go here so don't forget to join the waiting line!

Recommends, 꽈리고추멸치볶음('kkwarigochu myeolchi bokkeum,; stir-fried anchovies with shishito peppers) and Gomawa fried chicken (normal fried chicken)

2. Hanam Han-bang tongdak(한남동 한방 통닭)

   38 Daesagwan-ro 34-gil, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea

   This place is special for using Korean traditional medicine called 'Han-Bang' and chicken grilled on oak firewood. It's less fat than fried chicken and healthy. Juicy and tasty grilled colour of chicken will make you feel healthy. It's already packed with Koreans so make sure you write down your name on waiting list in advance!

   This is a unique type of chicken with so many different flavours of chicken representing each countries unique taste. Super spicy chicken for Korean chicken, Crab current taste with coconut mixed chicken for Thai, and Yakisoba flavour chicken for Japanese chicken. There are so many more chicken flavours to intrigue you and to ignite your taste buds.

4. Crazy Padak (미쳐버린 파닭) - mountain of spring onion 

   My last two recommendations are personal favorites for anyone in Korea or planning to visit. It's regular chicken with a mountain of shredded spring onions—nothing special but absolutely DELICIOUS. I've never seen this type of chicken outside Korea; it's worth trying!

5. BBQ chicken (효창중앙점)

   275 Baekbeom-ro, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea

   Once I visited Korea with my partner, we were dazzled by this chicken place. BBQ is a large franchise, but every store might have different levels of skill in frying chicken. This one near Sukmyeong girl's university had the perfect temperature and the crispiest chicken I've ever had. My partner still dreams about this place. Wish I could go back!
