As an ex-resident in Korea, I think Korea's cafe culture is absolutely underrated! They have the most amazing bakers and baristas who are geniuses at crafting the most delicious coffee and breads. It was very tough to recommend only five bakery cafes in Seoul for this blog post.
But don't worry if these spots aren't nearby—just head to Mangwon-dong and Sungsu-dong, where the streets are brimming with cafes. I hope you enjoy my post! xx
Ugly bakery
In the heart of popular bakery area in Mangwon-dong, this must be the top bakery. They are famous for Monmouth bread, which is delightfully stuffed bread in sourdough, and its cream bread, overflowing with luscious cream. You absolutely must visit, but be sure to arrive at opening time, or you'll miss out on this incredible experience!

Parole&Langue (파롤앤랑그)
This place is for pie lover with crispy bread base and fat fat milky cream inside. The balance of sweetness is just right, and the delightful mix of toppings with the crusted pie is simply perfect. With an array of flavours like yuzu musket, pistachio apricot, strawberry, and many more, whatever you are looking for, it's there. While "standard" might seem ordinary, standing out in the ordinary is no easy feat! You'll discover why this place is renowned once you visit. The moment you arrive, you will see cute toast logo and a cozy café atmosphere!

Rafre fruit (라프레플루트)
This is a perfect place for a combination of fruits and cream. They are super famous for fruit cake with overflowing amounts of fruits on top. So many reviews testify to their mad love for fruits. Wish someone could gift me a strawberry cake!
