(Among Korean restaurants located in Central London)
This post specially excites me as a Korean living in London! London is home to some fantastic, affordable Korean restaurants that deliver authentic flavours without the hefty price tag. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of samgyetang, a sizzling BBQ feast, or even a delicious plant-based meal, we’ve got you covered. Here are my favourite Korean restaurants in London! enjoy!
WooJung Holborn (ex Hoji)– Best for Samgyetang (and the Cheapest!)
Opening 12–3:30 pm/ 5–10:30 pm
£8-£12
If you're after a steaming bowl of samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup), this is the place to be. My partner tried pretty much all the samgyetang in London but this one is the only one that provides ginseng shot and most reasonably priced in London. They have a great lunch deal which is a large portion that reminds me of school lunch in Korea. Taste is not exceptional but more like homemade dish.

Seoul Tokyo – Budget-Friendly Korean Bites, Bring cash
Opening 12–3 pm/ 5 pm–12 am
Price range £10-£20
From what I know, this place is a sister restaurant of super famous Kangnam Pochain London. This is a great place for reasonably priced and delicious Korean restaurant. Both places offer great value for money, and if you pay with cash, you’ll even get a 10% discount! Expect classic Korean street food and pub-style snacks like tteokbokki, fried chicken, and Korean pancakes. Perfect for a casual night out with friends.
My recommendation is Gamjatang, or soondubu, but I don't recommend Kangnam pocha for Gamjatang where my friends and I had the worst stomach ache after dinner out.

Hankang – Great for K barbaque
Opening 5pm-11pm
£15-£25
If you're looking for a Korean restaurant with consistently great reviews in central London, Hankang is a solid choice. This spot has won over locals and visitors alike with its authentic flavors and high-quality dishes. Whether you're in the mood for spicy stews, sizzling bibimbap, or fresh banchan (Korean side dishes), Hankang delivers on all fronts.
I would personally rate their kimchis very authentic!

Gamnamuzip – A Meat Lover’s Paradise (£20-£35)
Opening 5:30pm-11pm
£20-30
For those who love Korean BBQ, Gangnamujip is a must-visit. It really reminds me of Korea where you will have a table full of Banchan and large main meat dish. This place is great for sharing dishes with many people. They have a set menus ideal for sharing foods. It's already very popular on Tiktok! you might trouble to get your place secured!

Mukbab – Korean Vegan Cuisine in London (£12-£18)
Closed on Monday, 12–3 pm/ 5–10 pm
£10 ish
91 Worship St, London EC2A 2BG
Korean food isn’t just about BBQ and meat-heavy dishes. Mukbab is proof that you can enjoy authentic Korean flavours with a vegan twist. Offering plant-based versions of classic Korean comfort foods, Mukbab is the perfect spot for those who love Korean cuisine but prefer a meat-free diet. From hearty stews to flavorful vegetable bibimbap, there’s something for everyone here. I love this place but they have only few seats available to dine-in, more designed for lunch take away spot for people working near Liverpool area.
Not much menu but I can't stop visiting place for a great kimchi pancake and kimbab

Whether you're a Korean food enthusiast or just starting to explore the cuisine, these spots offer delicious meals at wallet-friendly prices. From nourishing samgyetang to sizzling BBQ and plant-based delights, London has something for every craving. So grab your chopsticks and dive into these affordable Korean eats!
