As a native Korean living in London, I'm often asked where are the most authentic Korean BBQ—the kind that brings you right back to the bustling streets of Seoul. Without hesitation, these are the K-BBQ spots I always recommend to friends and family.
From premium Hanwoo beef (yes, real Hanwoo) to a homemade style Korean side dishes, these places will bring you to Korea instantly! Here we go!
The Treestone Butchers
📍Location: 73 High St, New Malden KT3 4BT (Restaurant & Butcher)
Butcher also in Greenwich and Golders Green
💲Price:£30
⭐ Recommendations: Spicy beef ox tail stew, Gamjatang
This is a beloved K-BBQ gem among Koreans living in London—and for good reason. What started in New Malden (a.k.a. London’s Koreatown) has now grown into a small chain with locations popping up across North and South London.
What I love most about this spot is the authenticity. Not only can you enjoy perfectly grilled K-BBQ in the restaurant, but you can also shop for fresh cuts and marinated meats, just like you’d find in Korea. They also offer a selection of frozen Korean comfort dishes like Galbi Tang (short rib soup) and spicy oxtail stew—super convenient for busy days, and surprisingly affordable.
Traveling to New Malden can be troublesome but dining here is way more budget-friendly than most Korean BBQ spots in central London, without compromising on quality. A must-visit for any Korean food lover craving the real deal!

Majang dong
📍Location: 15 Frith St, London W1D 4RE
💲Price:£20-30
⭐ Recommendations: Jokbal (pig trotter), Korean style black bean noodle, pajeon, Gamjatang
The stone K-BBQ grill plate and generous banchans (Korean side dishes) are clear signs of just how authentic this place is. Compared to many other Korean restaurants in London, they offer hard-to-find traditional dishes like seafood kalguksu (hand-cut noodle soup) and jokbal (braised pig’s trotters)—both of which are rich, flavorful, and truly comforting.

Hanwoo village Angel
📍Location: 19 St Alban's Pl, London N1 0NX
💲Price:£20-30
⭐ Recommendations: Hanwoo, Beef wagyu set, Yukhwae (raw beef)
Hanwoo is, quite literally, the best beef in the world—and yes, you can find it right here at this spot. If you haven’t tried Hanwoo yet, you’re seriously missing out. It’s Korea’s top-grade beef: richly marbled, incredibly tender, and in my opinion, even better than Wagyu or any sirloin steak out there.
The restaurant doesn’t just serve amazing meat—also outstanding service in London standard. The staff will even grill the meat for you at the table, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy!

K-Town BBQ (All-you-can eat K-bbq for 90mins)
📍Location: 8-10 Coombe Rd, New Malden KT3 4QE
💲Price:Adult £33
⭐ Recommendations: Japachae, banchans, Korean style pring onion, porkbelly
This spot is a strong competitor of the Treestone House. Just a quick 30-minute train ride from Central London, this all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ buffet is well worth the trip.
If you want to skip the lines, strongly recommend to queue up from 5:00pm—trust me, it’s the move.
This place also offers so much more than just meat. Alongside the BBQ favorites, you’ll find a fun mix of extras like ice cream, pizza, and other tasty surprises. It’s the kind of spot where you leave stuffed and satisfied.
