When I first saw 'english breakfast', I hated it. Now I confess that I crave it at least once a month. I like to go to an old UK cafe with the most british vibe and order an english breakfast tea with a drop of oat milk.

If anybody ask me for recommendations, these are my Top3 favourite english breakfast places in London. You can experience the most british food like bubble squeak, baked beans, black pudding and chips, always paired with a cup of tea. If you go early, you will see british old gentleman enjoying their meal, probably going there everyday. It really takes you back to old days of UK, almost feels like time travel.

Top 1. Terry's Cafe London

📍Location: 158 Great Suffolk St, London SE1 1PE

⏱️ Opening time: Except Wednesday 7:30 am–3 pm, Wednesday is 9 am–5 pm

⭐ Recommendations: English Breakfast, Steak & Scallops, Monmouth coffee, a large cup of tea

Terry's cafe is more local friendly and less people than other two recommendations. It is located near the borough station where locals love to spend time with their family and friends. What stunned me was the quality of their food! They offer coffee from the famous Monmouth coffee brand and special english breakfast in seafood, directly sourced from the Billingsgate Market. Coffee is delicious and comes with a huge cup.

My favourite is a standard english breakfast and steak&scallops. Steak might not be the best but their scallops are huge and a great amount of onion was beyond my expectation in english breakfast cafe!

Top 2. Regency cafe

📍Location: 17-19 Regency St, London SW1P 4BY

⏱️ Opening time: Tue-Sat 7am-2:15pm

💲Price: £10–20

⭐ Recommendations: English breakfast and tea

Regency cafe is already famous for tourists and civil servants working in Westminster. This place has well-preserved the history from 1946, that takes to you to the past. Because of its unique antique vibe, I've seen people shooting music video and taking many pictures.

If you are looking for a best place to try old-style british food and nice picture, this is the place!

Top 3. E Pellicci (Cash only)

italian style, portions huge

This place is a blend of italian and british food that takes you back to 1900! It is run by family business where you feel like homemade food from italian british family. Not only you can get full english breakfast, they offer of course homemade italian pasta and desert which are huge and delicious.
